Mischa

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Hip-hop, R&B artist, Mischa, is based out of Ottawa, Ontario. Mischa began writing music in her teenage years, always influenced by her musically inclined friends. After a lot of dedication to her music, working with various artists and releasing catchy melodies, Mischa has found a unique way to add a pop flavour to the hip-hop tunes she creates. She has several projects currently out including an EP, “LIKE, WHOA” which dropped August 9th 2019 and a music video for the single off of the EP, titled, “Up Now.” Mischa continues to find a way to engage and connect with fans through her performances and well-crafted lyrics.

Mischa started sharing her music with the public in late 2016 by releasing a Rihanna cover to the song ‘Needed Me.’ This pushed her to continue on her musical journey. In 2017 she released two more singles, ‘2ble take’ and ‘You have to want it.’ This was the debut of her music being heard on all major streaming platforms. She released her debut album, Vintage Windbreaker, in January 2018, which featured ‘You have to want it.’ She ended off 2018 by collaborating with electronic artist Rapzkallion on the song ‘Serene Estate’ It was her first time using both her rapping and singing skills on an electronic track to switch up the Hip-hop vibe and experiment with something different. Her first release of 2019 was her single ‘Check,’ in which she takes on a very hype up mentality for an overall feel good song. It doesn’t stop there. There is no down time for Mischa when it comes to her music. Her most recent project “LIKE, WHOA” dropped on August 9th. A 5 track EP showcasing her abilities as a rapper and singer in the Canadian hip-hop industry.
Mischa kicked off the live performance aspect of her career in 2017, by performing during Canadian Music Week at Supermarket Restaurant and Bar with an R&B/Soul/Hip-hop showcase. In 2017, she also performed at Adelaide Hall, opening up for electronic artist Dubloadz. She continues to perform between Ottawa and Toronto, performing new material regularly. Her latest performance was an EP release party for “LIKE. WHOA” held at Overflow Brewery in Ottawa.

The past year has been a lot of hard work. Mischa has taken huge steps to give her everything in order to follow her dreams. She is definitely seeing the hard-work pay off. She is regularly played over several University radio shows on CHUO 89.1FM. She is played throughout Ottawa in the city’s clubs, bars and stores. As well as being named in the Top 50 Ottawa Rappers by Cap City Hip-hop. Mischa continues indulging herself in more of the business aspect by networking, marketing and booking shows to showcase her true talents. She hopes to continue to do so, so she will accomplish what she truly wants to do in life: Inspire people all over the world with her
